As we are currently in the midst of a global health crisis, the format for this Professional Field Experience is a non-traditional one.  I first had to seek out a local library to work with.  I was able to contact the Assistant Director of the York Public Library on the recommendation of a friend who resides in York.  I then had to "sell" myself to them and my vision for how I could be of help.  This alternative model involved a lot of independent work and very little actual in-person time at the library.

The site agreement I submitted to my professor lists the original vision I had for my project.  Over the course of the semester, as I worked more and more with the YPL Youth Department, this project has evolved and morphed into something slightly different, but far more cohesive and useful to the staff and patrons of the YPL.
